Maxwell – blackSUMMERS’night

Maxwell’s debut, Urban Hang Suite, is one of few R&B records of the 1990s thats still in my CD collection.  Strange enough I didn’t buy it at the time it was released, but years later. I was introduced to it by a girl who played the CD almost continuously  and I didn’t mind.

July 1st  Maxwell released black SUMMERS’ night,  which is a confusing title, because this is the follow-up to 2009’s similarly-named BLACKsummers’night.

Already received well by the critics and I will listen this weekend with some new equipment I recently received.
